Are you involved in or do you support the shipbuilding and repair industry along the Gulf Coast? JOIN GSSC NOW	GSSC HOLDS FIRST QUARTERLY MEETING GSSC held its first Quarterly meeting on Thursday, October 30, 2008, in Mobile, Alabama. The theme for the meeting was Learn, Reflect, Connect, Plan. According to Byron Dunn, GSSC President, "These meetings provide a great venue for our members to connect and form working relationships with each other. However, the most important benefit is having members give input to the direction and work of the consortium.  During this meeting, we were able to make great strides in moving the work of our committees forward." Members attending the meeting had the opportunity to meet GSSC's Board of Directors and fellow members face-to-face learn about the state of the association learn about GSSC Committees review the 2008-2011 Strategic Plan hear a briefing on the recently launched PR Campaign visit GSSC's redesigned website network GSSC's annual meeting will serve as one of the quarterly meetings.
